What We Do at CEED
At CEED (Centre for Education & Economic Development), our work is driven by the commitment to uplift marginalized communities through comprehensive and sustainable development programs. We focus on empowering women, children, and vulnerable groups to improve their socio-economic status and lead dignified lives. Here’s how we make a difference:
- Health & Medical Care
We believe that access to healthcare is a fundamental right. CEED conducts free health camps in underserved areas, providing essential medical care to the poor and neglected. Our camps focus on general health checkups, maternal care, child healthcare, and disability care. We also raise awareness on health and hygiene practices to prevent illness and improve overall well-being. - Education & Child Welfare
Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. CEED provides educational support to children from poor backgrounds and those with disabilities. Through scholarships, school supplies, and after-school programs, we aim to create opportunities for these children to thrive. Our child welfare programs also include awareness initiatives on child rights and protection from exploitation. - Livelihood Training for Women
Economic independence is key to women’s empowerment. CEED offers skill development and vocational training programs to women, helping them acquire marketable skills that can lead to sustainable livelihoods. These programs focus on various trades such as tailoring, handicrafts, and small-scale entrepreneurship, enabling women to contribute to their families and communities financially. - Gender Equality & Women’s Rights
CEED is dedicated to promoting gender equality and protecting women’s rights. We conduct awareness campaigns on issues such as gender-based violence, trafficking, and discrimination. Our programs empower women to stand up for their rights and make informed decisions about their lives. By advocating for gender balance, we strive to create a society where women are respected and valued. - Trafficking Awareness & Prevention
Trafficking is a grave issue that affects vulnerable women and children. CEED works to combat human trafficking by conducting awareness programs in high-risk areas. We partner with local communities, law enforcement, and other organizations to prevent trafficking and protect at-risk individuals. Our goal is to create safe environments where women and children can live without fear of exploitation. - Welfare Programs for the Disabled
CEED is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Our welfare programs offer medical support, rehabilitation, and vocational training, enabling them to integrate into society with dignity. We also advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the services and opportunities they deserve. - Awareness & Advocacy
CEED actively engages in awareness and advocacy programs on a wide range of social issues, from health and sanitation to human rights and environmental sustainability. We work to educate communities, encouraging them to take part in their own development and make informed choices for their futures.
Through these initiatives, CEED is transforming lives, one step at a time. Our approach is holistic, addressing both the immediate needs and long-term empowerment of the people we serve. Together, we’re building a brighter, more equitable future for all.
