Qamar Begum is a visionary leader and social activist, widely recognized for her contributions to the upliftment of underprivileged communities. As the founder and chairman of CEED (Centre for Education & Economic Development), a nonprofit organization established in 1998, she has dedicated her life to improving the lives of the poor, marginalized, and neglected individuals in society. CEED operates from its headquarters in Cobol Pet, Guntur, with a branch at Flat No.432 G, Block JCHHA, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The organization is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and was established with a core mission to serve people irrespective of caste, creed, color, or religion.

Qamar Begum’s leadership is centered around the guiding principle of “Helping to Succeed,” and she approaches her work with deep love and compassion for the communities she serves. Over the years, her work has focused on providing relief, education, skill training, medical care, and promoting awareness on critical issues like gender equality, women’s empowerment, and the fight against human trafficking.
